According to the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, on-site inspections at > 120 shops showed that the ban of traditional plastic bags was followed by over 80 % of the controls. Jilin Province has issued the ban on Jan. 1, 2015, and supplied 518 tons of biodegradable plastic products to major commercial chains. Fines for non-compliance are heavy: 10000 Yuan (1400 €) for larger, 5000 Yuan (700 €) for smaller shops.

Pig and poultry vaccines account for more than 80% market share. The animal vaccine market is dominated by domestic enterprises, self-sufficiency rate is 90%. The pet vaccine market is dominated by foreign companies and has room to grow.
