Team members besides ECUST, School of Material Science, are the Research Institute of Forestry New Material, Chinese Academy of Forestry, a potato starch company from Gansu Province, and two plastic manufacturers from Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Since potato starch in China is about 4 RMB and the plastic product about 20 RMB, profitable processes can be worked out.
