The institute has acquired lab equipment worth 150 million yuan (US$23.81 million) for researchers in the fields of advanced materials, intelligent technology, space technology, energy and environment, and life sciences.
The institute has been commissioned with the construction of an urban safety supervision platform, agricultural product information platform, energy storage information platform and the development of stem-cell and regenerative medicines.
