Sinozyme (Nanning Biological Engineering Co.) in Guangxi becomes a major producer of D-trehalose

Trehalose, a disaccharide used in childrens’ food and cosmetics and stabilizer for vaccines, will reach an international demand of 150.000 tons. Sinozyme is at present the only Chinese manufacturer.
