A total of 11 923 cloned embryos were reconstructed using 6 piPSC lines and introduced into 71 surrogate mothers. Among these mothers, 25 were pregnant. These studies are aimed to test if iPSCs can substitute ES cells for the purpose of genomic manipulation.
