Founded in Shenzen 12 years ago, BGI now has nearly 4.000 employees and a turnover of 1 billion Yuan, 50 % from abroad. Chinese affiliations are in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Qingdao and Xi’an. Foreign branches are in the US, Europe, Japan, Singapore.
