International applications rose by 13,6 % from 2011 and are now 9.6 % of global. Zte Co. was the global number 1 with 3.906 applications, followed by Panasonic (2.951) and Huawei Technologies (1.801). China is now number 4 in international patent applications after the USA (51.207), Japan and Germany.
