The KOSMA telescope, a 3-meter sub-millimeter-wave instrument, was dismantled form the Swiss Alps in 2009 and donated to the CAS National Astronomical Observatories. It will be installed in a suburb of Lhasa at 4.300 m altitude, and Cologne University will have access at 20 % of the observation time.
