A consultation team led by the reform commission and supported by CAS, MOST and others has set the following goals for bio-based fibers for the present 5 years’ plan (ending 2015): total 5.1 million tons, among which PTT fibers are 150.000 tons, alginate fibers 10.000 tons, PLA fibers 50.000 tons.
