CAS Institute of High Energy Physics introduces PET system for whole-body imaging

The new systems is based on Chinese IP, e. g. a LYSO scintillation crystal. As a test, a whole-body image of a 4.5 kg macaque showing the animals in-vivo metabolism is provided, with a resolution of < 3.5 mm (CFOV).
