CropWatch, a team at the CAS Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, issues first projection on crop harvests 2013

The team headed by Bingfang WU projects global harvest projections on satellite information and modelling. The 2013 crop production season is described as globally average for rice, maize and soybean, while wheat did generally better, 4.1 % over 2012 average.
