Construction of Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology is started in “Blue Town” (Aoshanwei)

This first National marine laboratory will integrate activites of CAS China Ocean University, the State oceanic Administration and five other marine research institutes. The laboratories will cover 650 acres, and upfront investment is 1,3 billion Yuan. A 4000 ton ship will also be part of this laboratory.
