WuXi AppTech Co., Shanghai purchases Ilumina HiSeqTXen, starts to offer human whole-genome sequencing

The WuXi Genome Center meets international clinical standards and is the only CLIA-certified clinical genomics lab in China. With the offer to use the Illumina HiSeqTXen, the first system to sequence a human genome for 1000 US-$, WuXi AppTech challenges BGI Genomics which has narrow business relations to Illumina.
