China overtakes Japan in Nature Magazine-based publications for the first time

Based on the annual Nature Publication Index (NPI) which counts only publication in Nature or Nature-related journals, Chinese groups published more than Japanese for the first time, and CAS contributed most publications from any Asian institution.
