As to the 2013 report of the National Renewable Energy Information Administration Center, 28 Chinese provinces were linked to the national grid. Jiangsu, Shandong, Hubei, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces in East China contributed 50 % to this output.
