Based on over 2 million tons per year of waste oil and oilplant production on marginal land, CAAS has awarded the 2014 1st prize for technology achievements to a group of institutes which have achieved 12 national patents on biodiesel production based on various pre-treatment technologies, efficient conversion technologies and supporting engineering technology at high efficiency and low cost.
