The Tianjin-based group, a logistics company, has initiated this development in 2007 by a joint venture with Fraunhofer Society, Arthro-Anda Tianjin Biologic Technology Co. The technology is based on matrix-grown autologous cartilage cells, and clinical tests have been performed. The company will now expand into skin tissue culture.
