Within the 12th 5-years’ plan (2011-2015), the NDRC will inject over 220 billion Yuan (about 18 billion €) into bio-based materials engineering projects at CAS, universities and industry, including new business models and national standards. China is the world’s largest producer of wood-plastic composite materials.
