The new plant which is number three of Samsung will have a production capacity of 180,000 l and cost 850 billion won (660 million €). It will double Samsung’s capacity for contract manufacturing of biologics to 360,000 l. Samsung plans to expand its capacity further to a 4th and 5th plant.
