Hunan Agricultural University and Kang Yida Camellia Biotechnology Co. build aqueous enzymatic production line for camellia oil

The process uses a gently enzymatic treatment of oil seed kernels which results in better quality of the product and low cost – the enzyme cost is cited as 24 Yuan/t of oil seed. The process has been scaled to 30 t/day.
