CAS Institute of Microbiology publishes data on China’s microbial resources

According tot he „China Microbial Resources Developoment Report 2016“, China’s 33 microbial culture collections have 182,235 microbial strains which can be shared, and 96,907 patented strains. Thus, China is number 4 in overall and number 2 in patented strains.
