The group at CAS Guangzhou Institute of Biology improved the efficiency of stem cell induction, initiated new perspectives for reprogramming iPS stem cells and made systematic studies on the mechanism of transdifferentiation. They also found that vitamin C improves the efficiency of stem cell induction.
