The group of ZHANG Ruiping has developed water-soluble melanin-based nanoparticles (MNP) which have been loaded with the anti-cancer drug sorafenib and nuclide 64Cu, permitting tumor PET and PAI bimodal molecular imaging guided chemotherapy.
