Chinese consortium provides detailed genetic analysis of Zebrafish by knock-out studies

A consortium of 38 Chinese laboratories, including Peking and Tsinghua University and institutes oft he CAS, has knocked out al 1333 genes of chromosome 1 of the zebrafish, laying a foundation for single gene-related functional analysis. The team was headed by Anming MENG, Tsinghua University and Board Chairman oft he China Zebrafish Resource Center.
