Team at CAS QIBEBT establishes single-cell triacylglcerol measurement in Cyanobacteria by Raman microspectroscopy

Using the oleaginous microalgae Nannochloropsis oceanica under nitrogen depletion (TAG-producing conditions), single cells were measured by a 532 nm laser at one second per cell, and TAG content was measured with > 90 % accuracy, as corroborated by LC-MS
